Disaster Recovery
Your data and services are safe in case of disaster.
How Does It Work?
- Replication – Your data is instantly backed up via encrypted tunnels (according to RPO targets).
- Failover – When an outage is detected, systems are revived from the backup location (in accordance with RTO targets).
- Failback – When the main system is repaired, current data is automatically restored and normal operation is resumed.
Disaster Recovery Models
- Hot Site (Active-Active) – It is a model where systems work in both locations simultaneously. There will be no data loss or service interruption during an outage. Instant synchronization, load balancing; for critical banking and finance applications.
- Warm Site – RTO: minutes, RPO: minutes. It is a model in which the hardware is ready and the data is sent periodically. In case of emergency, services are activated in a short time. Cost/performance balance; for enterprise ERP/CRM.
- Cold Site – RTO: hours, RPO: per day. It is the most economical model where infrastructure and space are reserved, but the systems are closed. In case of disaster, backups can be used. Low operation cost; for archives and file servers.
